A high fee alone does not make a fund bad

The debate over the fees charged by multimarket funds goes beyond choosing between compensation models. Speaking to NeoFeed, Fernando Donnay, partner and portfolio manager, highlighted the importance of aligned incentives and the risks of structures that increase the weight of the performance fee. In his view, more important than looking at cost in isolation is measuring the fund’s ability to generate net returns for investors.
