Brazil Outlook 2026
Our Partner and Chief Economist, Luis Otavio Leal, spoke with JP News (Grupo Jovem Pan) on the program Economia em Foco.
During the interview, Leal noted that the current environment combines a gradual slowdown in economic activity with positive inflation surprises. According to him, this dynamic may create room for adjustments in monetary policy in the coming months.
Addressing long-term growth, he emphasized that for Brazil to break out of the so-called “middle-income trap,” investment in education will be essential.
