Carlos Belchior
Managing Director and Partner of G5 Partners since 2010.
Mr. Belchoir serves as Strategist for the equity, fixed income, structured products and currency portfolios in Brazil and abroad. He also served as Strategist for investment operations of the Algarve Family Office, managing equtiy, futures and fixed income investments abroad (2005-2009), and was responsible for the futures and options area, acting also as offshore equity consultant at Banco Bulltick (2003-2005). Prior, he managed shares, options and fixed income securities for overseas investments at Nobel Asset Management (2001-2003). He initiated his career at Espirito Santo Dealer. He holds major degrees in Economics and Finance from Bentley University, Massachusetts, USA.
Eduardo Weiskopf
Managing Director and Partner of G5 Partners since August 2008.Prior to joining G5 Partners, Weiskopf held key roles in risk management at Franklin Templeton Investments (2007–2008) and Banco Itaú (2003–2007). He also worked as a Senior Consultant at MSCI Barra (2000–2003).He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from IBMEC/RJ and a postgraduate degree in Finance from IBMEC/SP.
Michael Gagliardi, CFA®
Managing Director and Partner of G5 Partners since 2008.
Mr. Gagliardi was Partner of Sagitta Investment Management, a family office focused on alternative investments (2000-2008). He also worked at Banco Icatu (1998-2000), in macroeconomic research, having later joined the equities team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from PUC-Rio and is a CFA Chaterholder.
Renan Rego
Managing Director and Partner of G5 Partners since 2018.
Mr. Rego worked at Credit Suisse Hedging Griffo (2013-2017), having served as Vice President for the Private Credit Funds area. Among other roles, he also served as Co-Manager and Partner in the Private Credit Area at BRZ Investimentos (2009-2013). He initiated his career as an analyst in Infrastructure Private Equity at Infra Asset (2008-2009). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from FEA-USP.
Alessandro Fabietti, CFP®
Partner and Principal at G5 Partners since 2018.
He held the position of Private Banker at Credit Suisse (2012–2018) and worked in the Private Banking division of Santander International in Nassau, Bahamas, for five years. His career began in 2003 at Santander Private Banking, where he worked until 2007. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from PUC-SP. Certified Financial Planner CFP®️.
Fábio Fleury Soares, CFP®
Partner and Principal of G5 Partners. Fábio has served as Executive of our multi-family office area since 2017. Previously, he had a career as a lawyer, always working in the financial market. He earned his Law degree from Mackenzie, a post-graduate degree from FGV and has been certified by CFP – Planejar since 2018.
Fernando Donnay, CFA®, CAIA®
Partner and Principal of G5 Partner’s investment team since 2016, Fernando Donnay has more than 15 years of experience in the financial market and is responsible for allocating local managers for the hedge funds, private equity and venture capital investment classes. Fernando is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA).
Luiz Eduardo Mello
Partner and MD of G5 Partners, focused on client acquisition and relationship management for high-net-worth individuals at the multi-family office.
He previously served as Partner, Commercial Director, and Statutory Officer at Banco Fator, Rosenberg Investimentos, and Linear Investimentos. Additionally, he acted as a board member at ANCOR and participated in self-regulation committees at ANBIMA.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mackenzie University and a postgraduate degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
Mario Nevares, CFA®, CAIA®, CFP®
Partner since 2022. Before joining G5 Partners, he spent nearly 10 years at Itaú Unibanco, where he served as Manager and Head of International Portfolio Solutions in the Manager Selection / Fund of Funds division. From 2009 to 2014, he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Simplific Pavarini, focusing on wealth management. He also worked at other asset management firms, including Gap Asset Management and XP Asset Management
He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Business Economics from FGV/RJ and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from PUC-RJ.
Phillip Macedo
Partner and Principal at G5 Partners, with over 10 years of experience in the financial market.
He began his career at BTG Pactual in 2013, working in Credit Operations and later in Credit & Securitization. In 2017, he joined Rio Bravo as a credit analyst for fixed income funds, and in 2018, became part of the Investment Management team at G5 Partners.
In 2021, he took on responsibility for private credit investments, becoming a Partner in 2023. He currently leads the selection and analysis of investments in this asset class and, as of 2025, also serves as Investor for the Multi-Family Office.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá (IMT) and a postgraduate degree in Finance from Insper – Institute of Education and Research.
Rodrigo Phillipi
Partner and Principal of G5 Partners.
With over 15 years of experience in the financial market, he began his career in 2007 as an Investment Analyst in the client relations area at Banco Bradesco S.A. Between 2010 and 2013, he worked in the commercial and product divisions at Banco Citibank S.A., where he was responsible for structuring investment products and funds for clients. He has been a Partner at G5 Partners since 2013, leading the Client Onboarding and Fund Structuring teams.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidade FIEO – UNIFIEO.
Rosangela Rodrigues, CFP®
Partner and Principal of G5 Partners, responsible for prospecting and maintaining high-income clients. Rosângela also advises clients on matters relating to tax planning and family succession through our wealth planning division. From 2012 to 2014, she was an Executive at GPS Planejamento Financeiro and Hunter, having worked in several wealth management segments in the domestic and international markets.
Paula Whitaker, CFP®
Paula Whitaker is a Principal at G5 Partners, where she focuses on advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as developing long-term client relationships within the Multi-Family Office business. With over 14 years of experience in Wealth Management, she has built a strong track record at UBS Brazil and UBS Switzerland, advising families and investors on investment solutions, strategic asset allocation, wealth planning and succession planning, with an integrated perspective across both onshore and offshore markets. Paula holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors (BSc Hons) in International Management from the University of Bath and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®️).

Levindo Coelho Santos
Partner and Managing Director at G5 Partners since 2016.
Mr. Santos served in different financial institutions, such as Head de Investment Banking of HSBC in Brazil and as Executive Director for the M&A practice of Morgan Stanley in New York. He initiated his career in auditing at Arthur Andersen, in 1986, and was the Managing Partner responsible for the Novarum JBP Venture Capital Fund. He holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from EAESP-FGV.
Daniel Lombardi
Partner and Managing Director at G5 Partners, Daniel has over 20 years of experience in financial and strategic advisory, having worked on several highly complex engagements of mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and Distress M&A, partnerships and JVs creation, IPO advisory, and Board advisory. Daniel joined G5 Partners as a partner in 2017. He started his career in strategic consulting at Kearney and later worked as an investment professional at Iron House. Daniel holds an MBA from UC Berkeley with an extension at Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Poli-USP.
Rodrigo Fraga
Partner and Managing Director at G5 Partners, focusing on the infrastructure and energy sector since October 2019. Rodrigo has over 20 years of experience in transactions involving M&A, debt and equity issuances, project & structured finance and restructurings, particularly in the energy, transportation, oil & gas, sanitation and mining industries.
Tomaz Azevedo
Partner and Managing Director at G5 Partners, Tomaz brings 14 years of expertise in Investment Banking, including M&A, DCM, ECM, and debt restructuring. His career includes roles at HSBC, Bank of America, Itaú BBA, and Rothschild & Co. In 2018, he led the creation of Rothschild & Co’s M&A division for the middle market and technology sectors in Brazil, leading it successfully for over six years. He holds a degree in Economics from Insper.
Gustavo Galvão
Partner and Principal at G5 Partners. With a professional track record as Director at Queiroz Galvão Group, Gustavo has been involved in debt restructuring processes and M&A transactions across multiple sectors, in addition to leading the company’s water and sanitation management division.
Between 2018 and 2020, he served as an Associate Partner at Journey Capital, an asset management firm focused on credit and special situations.
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Insper and a Master’s degree in Finance from EADA Business School, Spain.
Edoardo Freschet
Edoardo Freschet has been a Principal at G5 Partners since 2026 and brings over 14 years of Investment Banking experience, including roles at Itaú BBA and J.P. Morgan in São Paulo and New York. Throughout his career, he has advised on M&A transactions, equity capital markets, and debt financings across Latin America, with extensive experience in client coverage and the execution of transactions in both English and Spanish. Prior to joining G5 Partners, he served as Head of Latin America Coverage at a European M&A advisory firm, focusing on cross-border transactions in the technology sector. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (USP) and is a CFA Charterholder.

Luiz Felipe Sayão
Partner and Principal at G5 Partners, leading DCM & Capital Solutions. He has over 18 years of experience in credit and capital markets, with a strong track record in originating, structuring, and executing debt transactions in the Brazilian market. Throughout his career, he has been involved in more than R$ 20 billion in transactions across a wide range of sectors.
Prior to joining G5 Partners, he held roles at Bradesco BBI, Banco Safra, Santander, and Credit Suisse. Holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from FGV-SP.

Roberto Freitas
Mr. Freitas joined G5 Partners in 2014, and has been a Partner since 2018, serving as Managing Director and General Counsel, head of the Legal and Compliance areas. He also served as Senior Associate at Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados (2002-2011) and as Senior Associate at Campos Mello Advogados (2011-2013).

Managing Director and Partner of G5 Partners since 2008.
Mr. Caldeira has been working in the financial market since 1975, having also served overseas as Senior Vice President at Oppenheimer & Co in New York. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).
Wagner Azevedo, CFA®
Managing Director and Partner of G5 Partners since 2010, Wagner is responsible for the administration and controllership area. Previously, he served as Risk and Compliance Officer of Ativa Corretora. He has a degree in Engineering, with a post-graduate degree in Financial Engineering from the Industrial Engineering Department of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-SP). He also has a LLM in Corporate Law from IBMEC-RJ and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA).
Luis Otavio Leal
Chief Economist and Partner of G5 Partners. Previously, Luis served as the Chief Economist of financial institutions ABC Brasil (from 2005 to 2020) and Alfa (from 2020 to 2023) and was also assistant professor of the Economics Department of PUC/RJ from 2001 to 2005. He earned his Economics degree from PUC-RJ.
Juliana Paiva
Partner and Principal at G5 Partners since 2024, leading Legal and Compliance for the Multi-Family Office division.
Lawyer with over 25 years of experience in capital markets, regulation, and corporate governance. She has held leadership roles at Banco Brascan, Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), and JGP Asset Management. She holds a law degree from Universidade Cândido Mendes (RJ) and serves as Vice President of AMEC, member of the B3 Regulation Committee, and participant in OAB-RJ and Anbima working groups.
Tatiane Bertone
Partner and Principal at G5 Partners, responsible for the firm’s Administrative area, overseeing staff teams and coordinating material, financial, and human resources, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and alignment with the organization’s values.
With over 15 years of professional experience, built a solid track record in administrative management, fostering a culture of excellence, integration, and team development. Supports training initiatives, guidance programs, and performance evaluations, driving results and ensuring high operational standards.
Holds a degree in Accounting from the University of São Paulo (USP).

Principal at G5 Partners, responsible for supporting the firm’s administrative areas and leading strategic and organizational projects across the company.
Holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and built his career as a partner and executive in the insurance sector, with solid experience in administrative structuring, process organization, and the use of data and information to support decision-making.
Tiago Goto Sala
Partner and Principal at G5 Partners, with over a decade of experience in developing systems for the multi-family office segment. As Head of Technology, leads the software engineering, infrastructure, and information security teams.
Holds an MBA in IT Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP).
