In 2005, Mr. Klarnet founded and served as of Tradewire Securities, a brokerage firm established in NY to connect and provide Brazilians with access to investments abroad. He was also responsible for managing proprietary equity and fixed income emerging markets portfolios at JPMorgan (2003-2005), Head of the Latin America Equity Desk at Goldman Sachs (2001-2003) and Head of Equities at Morgan Stanley (1997-2001). He initiated his career in macroeconomic research at Banco Pactual, where he also worked at the trading desk (1993-1997). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from PUC-Rio.
