Co-CEO and Founding Partner of G5 Partners. In 2005, he founded and was CEO of Tradewire Securities, a brokerage firm in New York created to connect and provide access to foreign investment opportunities for Brazilians.
He was responsible for managing proprietary portfolios in equity and fixed income in emerging markets at JPMorgan (2003-2005), was head of the equity desk for Latin America at Goldman Sachs (2001-2003) and was head of the equity desk at Morgan Stanley (1997-2001).
He began his career at Banco Pactual in economic research and later worked on the bank’s trading desk (1993-1997). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from PUC-Rio.
