We interviewed Bruno Batavia, from the Valor Capital Group, for our G5 Talks, who discussed his journey and the development of the Brazilian digital currency (DREX), as well as the country’s financial tokenization.​ Digital Currency is part of a larger and more integrated agenda of the Central Bank of Brazil, which also includes PIX, Open Finance and Currency Internationalization. This agenda has completely transformed the country’s transactional infrastructure, generating higher efficiency, financial inclusion, security and integration with other markets.
