The winning institute for 2025 was the Sustainable Amazon Foundation.<\/p>

FAS promotes the sustainable development of the Amazon, supporting riverside and indigenous communities and valuing the standing forest. Recognized nationally and internationally, it ranks among the best NGOs in Brazil. <\/p>

In 2023, the Francisco Gros Award was awarded to ESPM S\u00e3o Paulo, in the person of its president @daltonpastore<\/p>

In addition to its commitment to providing excellent education to its students, ESPM incorporates into its mission the commitment to generating relevant social impact through a variety of education programs: (i) scholarships for low-income students who pass their entrance exams, (ii) tutoring for high school students in the public schools of the cities of SP and RJ, (iii) training and updating of teachers in the state schools of SP and RJ, and (iv) Portuguese and Brazilian culture classes for Afghan refugees who are adapting to the country. <\/p>

Making the world a better place. It was with this in mind that we created the Francisco Gros Excellence Award, a tribute to one of G5\u2019s first partners, Francisco Roberto Andr\u00e9 Gros, who left us a very important legacy of commitment to building a more developed and fairer world. This year, we reached the sixth edition of the award, which is given to people and institutions that embody in their essence the values \u200b\u200bthat Francisco believed in and preached. <\/p>

That is why we are granting the 6th Francisco Gros Excellence Award to an institution that represents respect for democracy, dialogue, differences and collectivity: RenovaBR, a school for training new political leaders, guided by democracy, multi-party politics and transparency.<\/p>

\u201cTo change the political scenario and create a more developed, more equal and fair country, we need more aware people and prepared leaders. And that is what RenovaBR does and that makes it worthy of receiving the Francisco Gros Excellence Award\u201d, says Andr\u00e9 Benchimol, founding partner of G5 Partners.<\/p>

\u201cRenovaBR\u2019s work today constitutes an important pillar of citizenship for a country as plural and complex as Brazil. While it encourages and promotes the technical qualifications of our public representatives, it values \u200b\u200bthe practice of dialectics in the search for consensus on the country we want to build,\u201d adds Levindo Santos, partner at G5.<\/p>

Currently, RenovaBR is the largest political training school in Brazil. The institution selects and trains leaders to occupy elected positions throughout the country, whether at the federal, state or municipal level. The training enables these leaders to transform scenarios, with qualified knowledge about the reality of the country, based on data and evidence, transparency and a lot of dialogue with the population and with those who truly understand the essential issues of politics. According to RenovaBR founder Eduardo Mufarej, \u201cSociety needs to once again attribute value and realize the relevance that it is through the political class that we can build a fairer and more prosperous Brazil. Receiving this award is an important recognition from a strategic sector that moves our country. G5 is a reference in financial services in Brazil with the highest standards of excellence and being chosen as an institution of such prestige is a profound recognition\u201d <\/p>

In 2021, the Cesar Cielo Institute was chosen to be recognized by the Francisco Gros Award. Operating since 2010, the Institute is led by Olympic champion Cesar Cielo and his mother, Fl\u00e1via Cielo, whose main mission is to encourage the practice and development of Brazilian swimming. The choice was based on the inspiration transmitted in each action carried out by them who seek, through sport, to transform and develop the world and the lives of the children who participate in the projects. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The year 2020 will be remembered in history. The uncertainties and difficulties imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic exposed social differences and warned us to be even more attentive and committed to assuming our social responsibilities. That is why in 2020 the Francisco Gros Excellence Award became even more special and relevant. This year, we recognize and support the work of an institution that worked on the front lines in the fight against the pandemic, providing food and hygiene products to more than 500,000 people from socially exposed communities in Brazil: Gerando Falc\u00f5es. Gerando Falc\u00f5es is a social organization that operates within a network strategy, in peripheral areas and favelas. Its projects focus on sports and culture for children and adolescents and professional training for young people and adults, acting as an engine for generating income for families, including those released from the prison system. Gerando Falc\u00f5es and its CEO and founder, Edu Lyra, were recognized for their tireless and exemplary work, especially in implementing the 2020 campaign \u201cCorona no Pared\u00e3o, Fome N\u00e3o\u201d. The Francisco Gros Excellence Award was presented to Lyra by G5 Partners CEO Corrado Varoli and G5 Partners partners Renato Klarnet, Andr\u00e9 Benchimol, Nathaniel Wendling and Levindo Santos. <\/p>

When receiving the Award, in a ceremony broadcast virtually to all employees, Edu Lyra recalled his childhood when he lived in a simple shack in a community and the struggle to build Gerando Falc\u00f5es and help many families in the country. \u201cI lived in a situation of extreme poverty and vulnerability. I could have had a fate that society would have sentenced me to, but I had a very strong mother who told me \u2018it doesn\u2019t matter where you come from, but where you are going. You can conquer the world, you can do anything\u2019.\u201d <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2019, Instituto Elos was recognized with the Francisco Gros Excellence Award for transforming the reality of many communities. Elos aims to connect people, communities, governments and companies around a dream, promoting diversity through dialogue, compassion and creativity to create a better world for everyone. The award was presented in person to three representatives: Natasha Mendes Gabriel, Director of Education and Projects; Mariana Gauche Motta, Director of Operations and Strategy; and Rodrigo Rubido Alonso, Director of Institutional Relations. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2018, G5 Partners honored one of the extraordinary examples of young leadership in Brazil: Wellington Trindade Vitorino<\/strong>, 24, founder of Instituto Four. The non-profit organization seeks to select, train and develop young leaders who think about solving Brazilian issues and want to be in key decision-making spaces in Brazil. The organization is also responsible for ProL\u00edder<\/strong>, a program for developing young leaders in the country. Vitorino\u2019s struggle and victories began early. At the age of 12, he set up a small candy factory, worked as a popsicle vendor and was a public school student until he got a scholarship to attend the 3rd year of high school at a private school. He received scholarships from the American Embassy, \u200b\u200bEscola Parque da G\u00e1vea, Casa de Espanha and Oxford English Center. He received a scholarship from Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Estudar and graduated in Business Administration from Ibmec-RJ. At the age of 21, he created a program to support young people like him to become leaders to work in the public sphere or undertake entrepreneurial initiatives. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The first edition of the award went to our collaborator Celso Eduardo Moura. He is the vice-director of the Pathfinders Club \u2014 a volunteer initiative in S\u00e3o Paulo that helps children and teenagers by donating clothes and food, as well as helping them with their studies. Celso Eduardo also directs the group\u2019s activities, such as camping, outings and weekend meetings. In the capital of S\u00e3o Paulo alone, 30 teenagers between the ages of 10 and 15 receive support. \u201cThere is no better award than the smile of a child who realizes a dream or achieves an achievement they did not expect. I thank G5 for seeing, practicing and encouraging altruism in its collaborators, because that is how we literally build a better world,\u201d said the IT team member. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
